Catalytic grantmaking

Smiling scientist in a lab wearing blue latex gloves.

Through grants, we help nonprofit organizations improve success for students and workers, especially those facing the greatest obstacles.

We provide grants to nonprofit organizations, postsecondary education providers, and workforce and skills-based educators to help make education-to-employment pathways more accessible and affordable.

Where we focus

We focus on improving both education and employment systems so learners realize the economic value of their education and employers have the talent and skills they need to meet the demands of the labor market. We award grants that:

  • Elevate scalable approaches to career coaching and work-based learning.
  • Strengthen state data systems that enable students to make informed choices about where and what to study.
  • Facilitate engagement with employers and intermediaries to ensure alignment with education providers.
  • Bring stakeholders to the table to make postsecondary education more affordable.

Strada’s grant partners

We provide grants to nonprofit organizations and postsecondary education providers that are developing innovative solutions to help learners and workers overcome systemic barriers and achieve success.

Clear Outcomes

Strada’s Clear Outcomes team has partnered with the Postsecondary Employment Outcomes Coalition to engage state postsecondary and longitudinal data system leaders in identifying state-specific priority areas for improvement in alignment with the Clear Outcomes Elements of the State Opportunity Index.
