As senior vice president, cash and investments, Leonard Gurin is responsible for designing and executing on Strada’s cash and investment strategy and managing its treasury operations.
Gurin is a business school graduate of Indiana University with a major in finance. He previously held positions in financial planning and analysis at accounting and real estate firms in Chicago and Clearwater, Florida. Gurin started at USA Funds, a predecessor to Strada, in July 1991 in treasury operations.
He is member of Strada’s Internal Benefit Committee, a Certified Treasury Professional, and a member of the Association of Financial Professionals.
Gurin is the chairman of the Investment Committee for the Jewish Federation of Greater Indianapolis and previously served on the boards for Fishers Youth Assistance, Fishers YMCA, and Families First.
Gurin is passionate about addressing food insecurity needs in his community so a student’s learning is not impacted by hunger. In 2021 he helped establish the Food for Thought Community Fund that addresses food insecurity needs within Hamilton Southeastern School Corporation in Indiana. The fund supports food pantries within the school district and the summer meals program.
