Executive vice president, chief administrative officer, and chief of staff
Aristide J. Collins Jr. is Strada's executive vice president, chief administrative officer, and chief of staff. He provides strategic leadership and support to the president and leadership team to ensure progress on key initiatives, while overseeing several internal functions including finance, human resources, internal communications, corporate events, and diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Collins has nearly three decades of experience as a leader in higher education. Most recently, he served as vice president, chief of staff, and university secretary at George Washington University. While at GW, Collins served as vice president for development and alumni relations during the public phase of the university’s first $1 billion fundraising campaign. Collins also served in executive advancement positions at Clark Atlanta University, Pacific Oaks College and Children’s School, and California State University, Long Beach. He serves on the boards of directors of the Elizabeth Dole Foundation and King’s Academy in Madaba, Jordan. Collins is a member of the National Academy of Public Administration and on the faculty of the AGB Institute for Leadership and Governance in Higher Education.
Collins earned his bachelor’s degree in political science and a certificate in educational management from California State University, Hayward (East Bay); a master’s degree in public administration from California State University, Long Beach; and a doctorate in organizational leadership from Pepperdine University. He is a member of the National Academy of Public Administration.
