Connecting education with opportunity
At Strada Education Foundation, we’re focused on one goal: helping clear the path between education and work, especially for those with the most standing in their way.

Opening the door to education after high school isn’t enough.
For too many young people, the end of high school is a time of uncertainty rather than hope. As they move forward, they join countless adults across the United States who are struggling to figure out the best path to a fulfilling career and life, and aren’t sure if investing in more education is the safest bet. Meanwhile employers can’t find the talent they need, and thousands of good jobs are going unfilled.

Capable learners and eager employers are searching for each other in a system with too many walls and not enough doors.
At Strada, we’re sure of one thing: It’s possible to create a world where every person – no matter where they start – can see the way ahead.

Everyone should have access to accurate information on education and employment outcomes that can help them make informed decisions about post-high school education and employment.
When individuals have access to education-to-career coaching, they are better equipped to make informed decisions about their education, map out career pathways, and navigate challenges along the way.
Postsecondary education should be within everyone’s reach. By making existing financial aid easier to access and improving efficiency of higher education programs, more individuals will be able to pursue their educational and employment goals, regardless of their circumstances or background.
Work-based learning experiences, particularly paid internships and apprenticeships, help students make the connection between their education and career aspirations.
Students should have access to education and workforce training programs that lead to quality jobs, and employers should assess and advance individuals based on skills and experiences, not just their degrees.
